How to pass @ModelAttribute properties to JSP when Spring MVC redirects to JSP

I have a @Controller which has a @ModelAttribute attribute in it. This attribute is present in the jsp, and contains some values. I have a ViewResolver bean in my Spring app which is used to pass the values of the @ModelAttribute into the model for the JSP from which the @Controller is redirecting to. I am performing this redirect as follows:
@RequestMapping(value=”/resultpage.jsp”, method=RequestMethod.POST)
public String redirectToResultPage(Model model) {
model.addAttribute(“parameters”, ParametersUtil.getParamsFromBean());
return “resultpage”;

And, in my view resolver, I am populating a model attribute in my model and getting it in the JSP as follows:
protected ModelAndView resolveViewName(HttpServletRequest request,
HttpServletResponse response,
Object view, String viewName,
Model model, ViewContext viewContext) throws Exception {
ModelAndView mav = super.resolveViewName(request, response, view, viewName, model, viewContext);

model.addAttribute(“parameters”, parameters);
return mav;

This approach works fine, but I have run into a problem with it. In the ViewResolver, I see the parameter I added in model.addAttribute(), but they are displayed in the JSP as empty Strings or Boolean objects. Therefore, when I do:

I get:

And if I try to get the parameter in the JSP using model.get(“parameter”) I get an exception.
I am using Spring 3.2.3, and using the JSP tag libs.

I don’t think you should be running with the JSP tag libs. It is using the Servlet API. As you can see from
